  • Funny sticker

Here's a bumper sticker I saw on someone's car in the parking garage:

    I FOUND JESUS
He was behind the couch the whole time

    I thought it was funny.

  • Boring insight

So I was in class a few weeks ago (our class had a joint meeting with another class) and the professors assigned us to small groups to discuss a legal question. Well, I start talking to the group and I hear myself actually sounding like a law student! Stupid observation, it would seem, but I don't usually socialize much with other students and discussing legal issues with people after class isn't on my top list of things to do. Of course, one would assume that after almost 3 years of law school, it's only natural that I would talk in the way law students/lawyers talk when discussing legal issues. However, it sure came as a surprise to me. I can't remember exactly what I said but it was my word usage and phrases that made me sound exactly like every other student in school, for good or bad. People always warned me that as a law student I would change (and not for the better), but thusfar I haven't seen much of a change, other than being busier than I had been before. Anyway, it seemed strange to me.

  • Movies I've Seen Recently - April 2007

    • Grindhouse

It's almost unbelievable that I've only seen one movie this whole month. I usually go see movies with Mike, but we've been pretty busy lately I guess. I intend to see Hot Fuzz this Friday, though.
